Uh oh!

Between May 14 and May 27, 2026, AWS SDK for Rust releases contained no new service model content. Version numbers bumped normally, but models were frozen at May 13. We detected and fixed this on May 28.
What was missed: ~40 new API operations across 12 services, ~135 new shapes, endpoint updates for 6 regions, and additions including Bedrock AgentCore, DataZone, QuickSight, and KMS SourceArn.
What happened: A pipeline migration caused fresh models to be downloaded but not persisted before code generation. Builds reported success because tests checked build completion, not build content.
What we did:
Action required: If you upgraded between May 14–27, upgrade to any release after May 28. No action needed if you've already upgraded since.
We apologize for the gap. Questions welcome in this thread
