Participants should be respectful, constructive, patient, and focused on improving the project.
Examples of expected behavior:
- discuss code and ideas rather than attacking people;
- give actionable technical feedback;
- respect privacy and avoid posting secrets or personal data;
- credit contributors and upstream projects;
- accept maintainer decisions made for safety, licensing, or project scope.
Unacceptable behavior includes harassment, threats, discrimination, sexualized targeting of participants, deliberate disclosure of private information, spam, malware, or attempts to use the project community to distribute illegal material.
Report conduct concerns privately through the maintainer contact listed in SECURITY.md when public discussion would expose a participant.
The maintainer may edit, remove, lock, or reject content and may temporarily or permanently restrict participation when necessary to protect the project and its community.
This policy applies in repository Issues, Discussions, pull requests, review comments, release discussions, and project-controlled community spaces.
