GitHub Pages DNS check fails for mustship.ru and www.mustship.ru in repository http://github.com/gushinets/mustship-site. The custom domain and root CNAME file both contain mustship.ru.
Current DNS configuration:
Both Reg.ru authoritative nameservers and Google, Cloudflare, Quad9 and OpenDNS return the correct GitHub Pages records. No AAAA or CAA records are present at the apex, and there is no DNSSEC DS record.
However, the Pages health API reports dns_resolves=false, InvalidDNSError (Domain's DNS record could not be retrieved), and caa_error="Dnsruby::ServFail" for both domains. HTTPS presents a certificate that does not match mustship.ru, and Enforce HTTPS remains unavailable. Removing and re-adding the custom domain once did not help; the site build succeeded.
Has anyone resolved this issue with Reg.ru? Could the Pages team investigate DNS resolution and retry certificate provisioning?
Related report: http://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/209534. Its author reported resolving a similar issue by changing DNS providers. Is there a way to resolve it while retaining the current provider?
