Lisan al‑Sama — make maps feel "live" using instantaneous AI modeling

I’m a designer with an engineering imagination proposing a project called "Lisan al‑Sama." The goal: a maps UI that makes every user feel they are seeing the exact same live moment everywhere by applying instantaneous AI modeling to streamed data — while clearly labeling anything that is estimated or predictive.

Why this matters

• Improves user experience for travel, tracking, shopping, driving, tourism and spatial search by delivering a stronger sense of "live" presence.
• Unifies real‑time, delayed and predicted sources to reduce jitter and create continuous, smooth visual motion.
• Enhances usability even when some data sources are not strictly real‑time, while keeping transparency about data freshness and confidence.

Technical sketch (high level)

• Data sources: users’ devices, IoT sensors, traffic providers, and knowledge/context sources (e.g., Wikipedia).
• Transport: low‑latency streaming (WebSocket / WebRTC / MQTT) with delta updates.
• Instant processing: AI + mathematical cell modeling to do sensor fusion, smoothing, and short‑term prediction. Smart indexing distributes results.
• Client: high‑fidelity vector/WebGL rendering (MapLibre / Deck.gl) with layers for live / estimated / historical replay and explicit tags for source, timestamp, and confidence.

Key concerns & constraints

• Transparency: always label predicted/estimated content so users are not misled.
• Privacy: require explicit consent, anonymization/aggregation, compliance with laws (GDPR etc.).
• Licensing: check Google Maps Platform and third‑party data licenses before integrating or redistributing; recommend prototyping with OpenStreetMap / MapLibre to avoid early legal friction.
• Performance: network latency and edge compute matter — aim for efficient delta updates and client interpolation to reduce perceived latency.

What I’m looking for

• UX designers: patterns for showing freshness/confidence without cluttering the map.
• Developers: help building a wireframe and a minimal web demo (MapLibre + WebSocket + generated data).
• Engineers: proposals for lightweight message formats (Protobuf/JSON), delta/interpolation techniques, and jitter reduction at scale.
• Legal/privacy reviewers: notes about licensing or regulatory traps when combining AI‑processed layers with Google Maps or other providers.

Hello, thank you for sharing. I'm the creator of a fantastic architecture for building, design, and modernization. My idea is a prototype, and what I've outlined will already be ready, thanks to the efforts of builders and programmers. I will provide them with all the details necessary for its success. Artificial intelligence will contribute 70% of the work. I'm confident that the idea will succeed because everything we need is already in place: databases, systems, and processors.
